Life is simply weird...
Today i took a cab out for some work... When i boarded the cab, our company founder stopped me and asked where am i going. Happened that we are heading different routes and so he didnt board the cab... This started my conversation with the driver.
"Wah, our boss so rich no car meh?"
I said, "Uncle, he has 2 cars but his driver is not in today..."
Rich people also have problems. Poor people also have problems... Rich people's wives will feel insecure because with extra money, men tends to have flings/mistresses... Without money, there will be money problems...
So he told me his wife said he is a good man cos he dun drink/smoke/fling... Only thing is no money... Then he complained about his son who's taking his degree now and spent 10K+ on computers/laptop and upgrading of hardwares/softwares over the course of 2-3 years....
Then he talked about children... Now this generation cant depend on their kids anymore... If he can turn back the time, he wouldnt wanna have children at all... So he started telling stories on why is that so.
Incident 1:
The old woman was sick and her daughter brought her to the chinese sinseh becos it is CHEAPER!!! One week later, the old woman's birthday and she asked her daughter for an ang bao... Do you know what is the daughter's reply??? "I took you to the chinese sinseh last week, you can deduct from there!!! "
Incident 2:
The man worked for Sony and when the factories all moved to China, he followed. While he was away, the wife brought up 2 children on her own and the husband end up with a China woman. Came back to Singapore with her and want to divorce his wife... When the children grew up, they even ignored the woman's call.
What had the world become??? Why is everyone so selfish???

Z is getting engaged in June. We are all suppose to go Glasglow for their graduation in July... Today Z decided not to go... I called her when i know what happened.. She was complaining she is broke. which i tink is a lame excuse becos she earns more than me... So i say she can always use her credit card.. she says she oredi spent a lot on her wedding... paying for the rings, wanting to buy her own gown, wedding cermony... From her tone/way of speaking, it seems more to meet the eye...
A few of us discuss and feel that it could be Z's SO... He wont be joining us for the trip... They could have had a fight over this issue as Z says "I dun have the mood to go for this trip anymore..."
I questioned her, "How can you possibly let go of this chance to go on a holiday with this big group of friends??? Money cant buy this chance of happiness/belonging together..." Forgoing this trip because of money is a bit "????" when you had oredi bought the ticket... We asked her to tink it thru again carefully...
Hopefully she wont have to miss this trip...
