Some people can be real bully... Own work oso not clear yet she still wanna bully new girl....

Let me explain.... Our dept has a colleague R, who worked here for almost 2 years... When she first came, she always make mistakes and she do things super slowly thus not many pple will pass work to her to help… She has attitude problem as well… Esp when she need help, instead of asking, she would actually order the person to do the work… Many a times, I will juz say nvm... If within my means I can help I will but she is getting ruder…

We got a new colleague this mth… Let’s call her E... From the start, E learnt my work as I will be going for my leave in a couple of months’ time… Due to the shortage of PC, E cant really learn everything at one go…

Incident 1 : R works different sat shifts as us so when she is not ard, I will have to do manifest when needed… So PK actually ask her to teach E… Instead of teaching manifest, she taught E other stuff… So on last fri, she happened to take leave… PK ask E to do manifest and she was confused… So E came to approach me and asked me how to do and we realized that R didn’t teach E at all… So I taught E what I knew and we printed out the documents for PK… Eventually, the vessel will only leave on Monday…

Incident 2 : We realized that 2 vessels registry were missing while the rest of the certificates were in the office document files… After searching for some time, we realized they could be in Batam… We had just received one of the vessel, ASL 37’s registry as there is a change in owner name… Since this is MG flag, normally I will scan a copy and give the original to R as she is supposed to be handling MG vessels… So I called R and asked where is the original registry… Her reply is “I told E to file in oredi”… I went to check the vessels documents and found out that this registry were given in August and not September… E only came in to work on 4th September and didn’t help R at all till 2nd week of September… That really amazed us… How can E file in the document when she haven’t even start work…

Incident 3 : Today…. She told E to do manifest and say she need by 12… Halfway thru R decide to teach E ICA then teach halfway R walked away… then complain say she do 1 hr oso havent finish ICA… When she first started work, R herself take more than 1 hr to finish one job plus making lotsa mistakes… E dun understand her manifest format so i go over and help her… i asked R where she get her reference no cos it is different from what I learnt before… Then she looked very unhappy and raised her voice at me saying y she teach E and i get involved for…

Morale of the story : if you cant teach, dun teach… If pple can understand what you are teaching, they wouldn’t have to clarify with another person….
